Every chart in the Insight Deck is built from published reports and shows the year or period it covers.
Sources
- Health insurance: five years of IRDAI Annual Reports, for market growth, claims behaviour and company-level figures.
- Loans: the RBI Annual Report and the RBI's Trend and Progress of Banking in India, for credit growth, lending rates and bad loans (NPAs).
- Investing: bank FD rates collected from each bank's published rates and shown with the date they were read, and mutual fund NAVs from AMFI, the industry body. More on how we check these is on our Invest data page.

- Figures are updated when a new annual report is published, so the latest year shown can be a year or more behind today.
