Founded in 2009, began operations in 2010, as a joint venture between State Bank of India and Australia's Insurance Australia Group (IAG). IAG fully exited in October 2019, selling its 26% stake; Napean Opportunities LLP (a Premji Invest affiliate) and Warburg Pincus acquired the stake between them.
